June 2025 — Global sports betting data consumption surged by 32% year-over-year in Q1 2025, with table tennis rising to become the second most consumed sport globally, overtaking both basketball and tennis, according to LSports Quarterly Data Report.
Another unexpected finding was the rise of lower-tier European football leagues to rank among the top 10 most popular, signalling a trend sportsbooks should monitor closely, while esports continued its remarkable ascent with a 75% increase in popularity.
