We are looking for a highly motivated Chief of Staff.

Position Overview:

The Chief of Staff for the Technology Department at our SaaS company plays a critical role in supporting the Research and Development (VP) and the entire technology team. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the technology department by managing key projects, facilitating effective communication, and driving strategic initiatives. The Research and Development (VP) acts as a trusted advisor to the VP, helping to set priorities, manage resources, and align the department's efforts with the overall business objectives.


  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the CTO to develop and implement the technology department's strategic plan. Ensure that all projects and initiatives align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage high-priority projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business needs. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Communication and Coordination: Serve as a liaison between the CTO, technology team, and other departments. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across the organization.
  • Resource Management: Assist in the allocation and management of departmental resources, including budgeting, staffing, and technology assets. Ensure optimal utilization of resources to meet project goals.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the progress of key initiatives and projects. Identify potential issues and roadblocks, and work with the team to develop and implement solutions.
  • Executive Support: Provide high-level support to the CTO, including preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation. Assist in decision-making processes by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Team Development: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the technology department. Mentor and support team members to enhance their skills and performance.


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or project management role within a technology or SaaS company.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
  • Familiarity with technology trends and best practices in the SaaS industry.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
